Brooke Gilbert grew up Darien, Connecticut and graduated with honors from Boston University in May of 2011 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. While an undergraduate she worked as a research assistant at Judge Baker Children’s Center at Harvard Medical School, working on a multi-site, clinic-based effectiveness trial of CBT for depression and anxiety. After graduation, Brooke decided to move to the Bay Area in pursuit of new opportunities. She now works on cortical thickness analyses and hopes to eventually pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Outside of the lab, Brooke enjoys traveling, trying new foods and restaurants, watching foreign films, playing soccer and tennis, reading fiction novels, and spending time with family and friends.
