Carly grew up in Lake Tahoe, California, and joined the lab shortly after graduating from Stanford University in June 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Health and Development and a minor in Spanish. During her time as an undergraduate, Carly worked as a research assistant at the Stanford Systems Neuroscience and Pain Lab as well as the Child Trauma Research Program at UCSF. Outside of lab, Carly enjoys playing the saxophone, running, reading, and dancing like no one is watching.
