Erika Manczak received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, in 2017 and completed her clinical internship at the University of Illinois-Chicago. At the broadest level, Erika is interested in the biological and psychological mechanisms through which family relationships confer risk for mental and physical health disorders. Drawing on a background in psychoneuroimmunology, she has primarily examined cellular inflammation processes as key pathways of risk.
