Maddie grew up in Boulder, CO and graduated from Santa Clara University in 2012 with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Spanish and Public Health. As an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant in the SCU Sleep and Cognition Lab. After graduating, she traveled and did volunteer work in Peru and Nicaragua, and worked at SRI International as an Early Childhood Assessor before joining the lab. As a research coordinator, Maddie runs fMRI scans on adults, adolescents and children, and helps coordinate the fMRI portions of the child and adolescent studies in the lab. In the future, she plans to pursue graduate school in Occupational Therapy. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys photography, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
