Monica grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before trading Lake Michigan beaches for sunny skies and the Pacific Ocean. She graduated with honors from Stanford in 2015, where she worked in Anne Fernald’s Lab studying children’s language learning. She couldn’t get enough of the Stanford Psych Department and joined the Gotlib Lab full time after graduating. As a member of Scan Team, Monica coordinates adult fMRI studies and runs scans for adults, teens, and children. She is loving learning more about neuroimaging. When she’s not in the Psych building, you can usually find her outside, complaining about the lack of seasons but secretly enjoying every second of perfect weather.
